On Monday (10/28) at approximately 11:44 AM, Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the area of 5th St. and Iron Dr. in Dolan Springs in reference to a shooting. It was reported that a male subject had been shot and that the shooter had fled in a vehicle.
Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with the victim that had been shot in the leg. The victim was treated on scene and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives were able to locate the suspect and suspect vehicle a short distance from the scene.
The suspect, identified as Skippton Mykail Wren Pasaj (24 of Dolan Springs), expressed his frustration with the victim clearing a lot nearby and cutting down shrubbery. Pasaj had driven his vehicle onto the lot that was being cleared and began driving recklessly and doing donuts. At some point during this time, the victim was shot in the leg. Pasaj admitted to his involvement in the incident, however denied shooting the victim.
A search warrant was served on Pasaj’s residence and vehicle. During the search, a rifle and two spent shell casings were recovered. Skippton Pasaj was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility for Aggravated Assault with a Weapon and a misdemeanor arrest warrant.
